Family Foundations

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) provide meaningful ways for donors to stay engaged in giving, as they have been with their private foundation.  A DAF can serve as a family foundation.

DAFs also offer greater tax benefits and avoid many of the hassles and costs of private foundation management. This illustration shares a comparison of a Donor Advised Fund and a Private Foundation.

Our staff welcomes the opportunity to consult with prospective donors and their advisors to discuss the pros and cons of donor advised funds and private foundations. Our goal is simple: to help donors find the solution that works best for them.
