Beneficiary Designations

There are many different financial arrangements that allow you to name Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF) as beneficiary or contingent beneficiary:

  • Life Insurance
  • Retirement Plans and Individual Retirement Accounts
  • Bank Accounts or Certificates of Deposit
  • Investment Accounts

Talk to your financial advisor, banker, life insurance agent, retirement plan administrator or IRA custodian to obtain the necessary forms. You may also want to consult with your estate planning advisor to make sure your charitable gift is coordinated with your estate plan.

When naming LCF as a beneficiary, please specify “Lincoln Community Foundation, Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska”. You don’t need to add more detail for the use of your gift, as we will work with you to develop a fund agreement to document your specific instructions.  This fund agreement may be amended from time to time as your charitable interests change or expand.
