Lucile R. Hac*

NARRATIVE:
Dr. Hac was a versatile scientist and career woman. She had scientific publications and patents in chemistry, microbiology antibiotics, plant physiology and genetics. She did some of the initial research on sulfonamides and penicillin. She travelled extensively, raised flowers, enjoyed sewing and loved dogs.
