QUOTE:
I still enjoy occasionally helping a high school student with algebra and/or geometry. I think the highlight of my life was teaching for 40 years. My parents, Fred Buell and Gladys M. Marshall-Buell, farmed a 240-acre farm at Murdock, Nebraska. They were active--community and church activities--at Murdock and Elmwood. My Grandfather, George E. Buell, homesteaded at Murdock in 1869. My Grandfather, Paul J. Marshall, came with his parents from England to Weeping Water in 1871. My Great Grandfather, Franklin Fowler, homesteaded at Weeping Water in 1864.
