Quick Response Grants were created to respond to unexpected needs or special funding opportunities where a small investment could make a big difference to nonprofits and their constituents. Quick Response Grants are broad in nature and can be for any purpose that benefits the residents of Lincoln and Lancaster County. These grants meet the need for requests where the traditional application process and timeline would result in a loss of opportunity or project, or where other funding sources were not available.
The maximum size of a Quick Response Grant is $5,000. Funding decisions will be made within two weeks of receiving an application.
Grant requests are accepted from qualified 501(c)(3) organizations and other organizations recognized by the IRS as qualified recipients of tax-deductible gifts. Grants to organizations that discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, creed or ethnic group are not considered.
