Quick Response Grants

Quick Response Grants were created for a fast solution to unexpected needs or opportunities where a small investment could make a big difference to nonprofits and their constituents. Quick Response Grants are broad in nature and can be for a range of purposes that benefit the residents of Lincoln and Lancaster County.

The maximum size of a Quick Response Grant is $5,000. Funding decisions will be made within two weeks of receiving an application.

Grant requests are accepted from qualified 501(c)(3) organizations and other organizations recognized by the IRS as qualified recipients of tax-deductible gifts. Grants to organizations that discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, creed or ethnic group are not considered.

Funding is not provided for:

  • Religious purposes
  • Political or partisan purposes
  • Endowment funds or capital campaigns
  • Transportation
  • Grants made directly to an individual
  • Emergency funding for situations immediately impacting the sustainability of the organization or its programs

Contact the Vice President for Community Outreach at 402-474-2345 (or via email) to discuss the grant request.
