The Lincoln Community Foundation would like to be a resource for prospective donors and their professional advisors. Our in-depth understanding of the many facets of charitable giving, which can offer specific tax benefits, can help donors achieve financial, personal or business goals. We can also develop illustrations of charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts and other gift transactions that will help donors and their advisors as they consider various planning alternatives.

Planning Options
Donors have several options to consider as they explore giving through the Foundation. These include:
- The type of fund that best meets their charitable giving goal

Private Fund Option
Donors sometimes think that a private foundation provides their only option for long-term involvement with assets designated for charitable purposes. In reality, a donor advised fund administered through the Foundation also provides ways for donors to stay engaged in giving, while sometimes offering greater tax benefits and avoiding many of the hassles and costs of private foundation management.
