Donor Recognition
We are pleased to recognize our Foundation donors with several special giving categories.
Benefactor Society recognizes:
- Individual gifts of $50,000 or more to the Lincoln Community Foundation Fund
- Endowed gifts of at least $500,000 to any fund type
- Gifts of $1,000,000 or more to any fund type
Benefactors may choose to have their names placed on the glass wall in the lobby of the Lincoln Community Foundation Building or in the granite walkway of the Lincoln Foundation Garden.
Lincoln Forever Society recognizes gifts to the Lincoln Forever Fund or a Lincoln Community Foundation Fund.
Lincoln Builders recognizes donors who establish named endowed funds.
Lincoln Giving Circle recognizes donors who establish an expendable donor advised fund, including a Charitable Checkbook account.
Legacy Society recognizes those who have made plans to leave an estate gift.
Book of Memory recognizes deceased friends and loved ones in a time-honored Lincoln tradition. Memorial gifts will be directed to the Lincoln Forever Fund, a permanently endowed fund which supports community needs as well as opportunities and innovation. Names will be entered in calligraphy in the Book of Memory displayed in the front offices of the Lincoln Community Foundation.
Honorarium Gifts recognize living friends and loved ones and are directed to the Lincoln Forever Fund. Those honored individuals will be recognized in Lincoln Community Foundation publications.
