I am a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. Growing up in this community provided me with fond memories of many visits to Pioneers Park; picnics, climbing up to the Indian, and visits to see the bison, elk and many other animals. Then as I became a young adult, there was cross country skiing in the park. My father passed away when I was in grade school. Since my mother became a single parent, these experiences contributed to my desire to help women further educate themselves as they find their lives changing. My late husband, Dale, and I believe in helping the community and various charities with volunteer time and monetary gifts.
